TaxSlayer Bowl 2016 Announcement

The 2016 TaxSlayer Bowl will be played on January 2nd, 2016 at EverBank Field in Jacksonville Florida.

The TaxSlayer Bowl tradition began in 1945 when a group of Jacksonville businessmen started the first concentrated drive at establishing a postseason college football game. The inaugural Bowl pitted Wake Forest against South Carolina on New Year’s Day in 1946 (Wake Forest won 26-14) with a payout of $10,000 to each team.
